All people are unique, like fingerprints. Everyone has their own opinions, beliefs, hopes and fears. But there is one area that, despite its inherent diversity, divides people into just two simple groups. No, this area is not politics, not fashion, and not even religion. Now I am talking about food and the attitude of each person towards it.
You can say: «What in the world can be easier, than food»? But it becomes the cornerstone of our existence. Some people see food as markers of status, power and wealth, others perceive it exclusively as a source of life-giving force, others do not pursue social and financial status, but are fans of the culinary arts. Thus, people cannot ignore the impact of food on their lives, and are divided into those, who eat to live and those, who live to eat.
For a long time in my artistic work I have been looking for a direction that would allow me to express through the pictures, what I want to convey to people. I have already tried several styles in painting, and although I liked each in its own way, I could not get rid of the feeling that I was missing something in them. And finally I found what I was looking for all this time!
FOOsymDolism is my own direction in art, which helps me to express my inner world with the help of paints. Here I decided to combine two trends at once: Foodolism and Symbolism.
Art, expressed through the prism of food, cannot be ignored by people, regardless of their attitude to food itself. In my creations food is an artistic reproduction of our reality, love, desires and even fears. I decided to combine this with symbolism, which has become the largest trend in art, allowing people to simultaneously express the individuality of the inner world of each person individually and the whole society together.
Now each of my works reflects the symbols of life, that worries us when going to bed and that motivates us to get out of bed every morning and start taking action. As a real foodolist and symbolist, I finally realized that I had found myself and my place in this crazy and beautiful world at the same time. I hope you enjoy my NFT-art too.
